Overview
By combining the best of the Fjords of Norway and some of the most awe inspiring
sights of the Baltic region, we are proud to present our newest voyage in our line
of Glatt Kosher Cruises. Starting in Northeastern Europe, the former soviet block,
you will get the chance to stroll down the city of Tallin, Estonia which is renowned
for art galleries and open-air theatres. From there the ship will take you to St.
Petersburg, the former capital of the Russian Empire, which until this day is still
full of historical architecture that highlights baroque style of the Tsarist regime.
Besides the grandeur of the buildings, you can enjoy a long walk through the Hermitage
and see one of the largest art collections in the world, boasting over three million
works of art.
Leaving Russia we take you westward to Finland where you find a significantly different
experience of Northern Europe. Though some of what you see, in terms of architecture,
may be similar to the style of St. Petersburg, you will quickly notice how the old
fashion style of building share sidewalks with new age styles of design. Helsinki,
known for its cultural focus, is filled with museums and galleries. The following
destination of Stockholm, Sweden is the last of the Baltic adventures. There you
will experience an entire city built on islands that are interconnected via bridges.
Besides the modernistic part of the city, you may choose to travel over to “Gamla
Stan,” the oldest part of the Stockholm, where you can stroll around streets and
experience sights that date back as far as the 13th century.
After the first leg of the journey, where you get to walk around in history, we
take you to a more natural and surreal environment. Cruising through the fjords
of Norway you feel at ease from your surroundings, and enjoy peace of mind from
the tranquility of the calm waters reflecting the green and white spotted mountainside.
In this country you will still stumble upon some of the last remaining mysteries
of nature. While stopping at six different cities, your senses will go wild from
the differing landscapes that each one provides. Three of the destinations are of
small towns with very warm and cozy motifs, while the other three are some of the
larger cities that capture the attention of visitors from the way they nestle comfortably
in the natural scenery of Norway.
